God has an foe - Cremastocheilus Beetle

In the Americas a little brown or black beetle lives that most of us would not even
notice. In fact, most of you would probably just step on it if you came across it. But,
this tiny beetle has a fascinating story.
This beetle happens to be a parasite. We usually think of a parasite as something that
lives in or on us and makes us sick or itch. But this beetle is a parasite on ants!
Its proclaim is Cremastocheilus (Kree-mast-oh-kyle'-us), sometimes called the
anteater scarab and is nothing special to see at. But, it has an incredible ability. It is
able to correct the quirk it smells.
If you are familiar once ants, next you know that they are accomplished to put up with others in
their colonies with their marvelous prudence of smell. They cannot attain it by sight, because
they cannot look entirely well. In fact, some ants are agreed blind. So, with two ants
meet, they will achievement the further ant behind their antennae collecting minute amounts
of chemicals in special receptors that permit them to identify if the supplementary ant is pal
or foe.
Incredibly, the Cremastocheilus beetle can change the exaggeration it smells. like it is time
for the female beetle to lay her eggs, she will go to an ant nest and wander going on to the
entrance. She after that changes the showing off she smells hence that the ants will think that she
is an ant from that colony.
Once she has passed the guards, she makes her quirk by the side of into the ant nest and
finds the nursery. She next lays her eggs in later the ant eggs.
When the baby beetle hatches, it smells behind a baby ant. But, it does not eat what
baby ants eat. It eats baby ants! The ants say yes care of it anyway, because to them
it smells right.
When the baby beetle gets big enough, it will pupate and next become an adult.
As an adult, it leaves the ant nest to locate option adult beetle to mate with. The
female will next find unconventional ant nest and start the cycle beyond again.
When I think of this beetle, it reminds me a lot of God's enemy, sin. We are so
blind, that in many respects we are just subsequently the ant. We think that sin is normal
in our lives and for that reason we just tend to ignore it. We infatuation special processing from God
to take and ruin the sin in our lives.
If we don't acquire rid of the sin, it will ruin the most exaggerated things in our
lives and eventually slay us as well. Let's ask God to put up to us to find the
parasites in our lives and ruin them.

I have not been accomplished to locate common books subsequently pictures of Cremastocheilus in them.
However, there are a few published on the web. I recommend going to Google.com and
clicking on the images tab. subsequently search for cremastocheilus and you should be able
to locate an image or two.
If you desire to cumulative some specimens, the easiest quirk to realize that is to put a large
flat stone on the nest of one of the large carpenter ant colonies found in most pine
forests. You can say them, because they create a large pile of pine needles and if
you listen, you can listen them rustling more or less inside. To catch some, place a large
flat rock on the side of the nest. come help in a few days taking into consideration the sun has been
warming stirring the rock. One of these beetles can often be found warming stirring below the
rock.
